Late yesterday we noticed our door would not close unless the pad was constantly held down - not a problem if you are coming in the house but definitely an issue if you are in the car and driving away. I had used GrandOpeningsGarageDoor late last year and used Mike's new query form to let him know of my issue. Inside of less than 30 minutes after posting the issue, Mike called and we setup an appointment for this morning. He showed up on-time and located the problem very quickly. He charged a fair price and I really appreciated his being on-time, being professional, and being very helpful. Called Mike on Monday morning (a very hectic time) and left a message because our garage door torsion spring had broken. He returned the call soon afterwards and offered to come by that day even though he was already swamped. Since it wasn't an emergency, I suggested the next day would be fine when he had more time available. He said he would be there at 0900am and he was! He showed up on time and assessed the situation. He figured out what was needed, double-checked that it would work and was done in less than an hour. It was a real pleasure to have someone commit to a time, show up at that time, and do the work well and with pride. We would definitely call Mike again and wholeheartedly recommend him to others.

Garage door needed repair last week after the snow. The large spring above the door called a torsion spring broke. We heard a loud rumbling noise and thought all the snow had slid off the roof at the same time. But no it was the garage door spring.
